Renée Berezowski
Owner and President
In May 2020, I proudly became the owner and president of the academy, marking the beginning of an inspiring Journey in my leadership at this prestigious institution. Having been a student here myself, the opportunity to build upon its enduring legacy is especially meaningful to me. I am passionately involved in the transformative journeys of our students and remain optimistic about the bright future we are crafting together at the academy.

Frank Sukhoo
Expertise: Pattern Making and Men's Tailoring
Frank Sukhoo has been a fixture on Ottawa’s fashion scene for almost 15 years — as a teacher and as the owner of Sukhoo Sukhoo Khooture in the ByWard Market. A favourite with the gala crowd and diplomatic community, Sukhoo has counted cellist Amanda Forsyth and former Governor Generals Michaëlle Jean, David Johnston and his wife Sharon among his clients.

Tracey Vibert
Expertise: Haute Couture
I graduated from the fashion designer program at this very school in ‘88 and the Haute Couture year in ‘89. Since then, I’ve been sewing for a variety of Ottawa and beyond clientele- creating bridal, evening wear, dance, cosplay and eco friendly sewing projects. Teaching sewing ( and dance) is a way to give back for me, and I love to see the spark of understanding in a student’s eye!

Tonia Weber
Expertise: Pattern Making
With over 25 years entrenched in the fashion industry, I bring a wealth of experience. My journey includes owning and operating a thriving Canadian retail business. In my role as a lead designer, I took charge of overseeing the design, production, and manufacturing of an exclusive Made in Canada clothing line. I've always held a deep affection for pattern-making, allowing me to craft unique and trendsetting garments.
For me, fashion is about creating something extraordinary from nothing, expressing my innovative ideas for both myself and my clients—a true labor of love. I take great pleasure in mentoring those with a passion for fashion, guiding them to creatively express themselves and develop their own unique style.
