Grande Première 2023 is a yearly fashion show that highlights the achievements of our up and coming Canadian fashion designers.
Presenting 1rst year student's Bustiers, Haute Couture dresses, History of Fashion garments and full collections by our graduating 2nd year class.
The show will open with RABIA UMER COUTURE. Rabia is a Canadian/Pakistani fashion designer and alumni. Her aesthetic is dreamy and elegant with a flair of detailed embroidery and beading that compliments her cultural heritage. Rabia is flying in from Faisalabad, Pakistan to present her new collection.
There will be a special show after the Intermission featuring Shiho Sakane, 2021 graduate.
Shiho is collaborating with AICO, an artist flying in from overseas from Ilodorical Kingdom, Japan. AICO is known for the BOMBOM dress. A dress that is made entirely of paper! Together Shiho and AICO will present new innovative fashion that will surely impress.
The show will wrap up with a very special awards ceremony.
